Hello Year 1 Class!

My name is Miss Birch and I am very excited to be your teacher!

I have worked at St Michael’s for 2 years and I have been teaching for around a total of 9 years.

I trained to become a teacher at the University of Cumbria, in a city called Lancaster. My subject specialism was Literacy.

In my spare time, I really enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews…family time is so important to me! I like to read and spend time in my garden. I enjoy walking and especially going for walks on the beach.

I look forward to beginning our learning journey together and let the exciting adventure begin!
