School Uniform
Here at St. Michaels, our children wear a basic school uniform which is designed to keep them comfortable, warm and smart.
Some parents choose logoed uniform which displays the school badge and others opt for without. Either is absolutely acceptable.
Children are required to have a book bag which they must bring to school each day.
Boys
Boys wear black, navy or grey trousers or joggers. Joggers are excellent for our younger pupils who are learning to be independent. In summer, shorts can be worn in the above colours as appose to trousers and joggers.
They wear a polo t-shirt which is white, yellow or navy. Green sweatshirts are then worn on top.
Dark coloured school shoes should be worn.
Girls
They wear a polo t-shirt which is either white, yellow or navy. Green sweatshirts or cardigans are then worn on top.
Dark coloured school shoes should be worn.
PE Kits
Our pupils wear green shorts and a yellow t-shirt for PE. They do not require shoes for sports lessons unless we have outdoor activity, in which case trainers will be requested for lessons.
Pupils leave their kit in a bag on their peg and these are sent home to be washed regularly. PE bags can be purchased or a backpack is a great alternative.
No Jewellery
To comply with health and safety, no jewellery (including earrings) should be worn on school days.
Uniform Bank
We have an ongoing ‘uniform bank’ which is comprised of both new and great conditioned used uniform. This can be accessed throughout the year free of charge. Please speak to Miss. Smith (our Pastoral Lead) if you require any uniform.
